Written for individual woodwinds, a small brass section, timpanist, percussionist and a small string section, this new reduction enables chamber ensembles to explore Tchaikovsky's masterpiece.

• Strings: this arrangement can be performed with a quintet up to a full chamber orchestra section.  Suggested string size is approx. 4 4 3 2 1

• Percussion: this arrangement requires a cymbal/triangle player for the final movement only.  There is an optional 2nd percussion part for bass drum (or bass drum with cymbal attachment).  It can also be played without percussion
